our story

Our story begins in 2021, as a small but mighty financial advisory firm founded in Inglewood, Los Angeles, California. Throughout the years spent in the industry, certain themes consistently re-appeared at different places; churn and burn nature of incoming and outgoing advisors, quantity instead of quality client relationships, conflicts of interests between firms and clients, lacking emphasis and skill pertaining to effective financial planning, and many other issues. After considering both the positives and negatives of these valued experiences, along with a new found confidence from recent success, I decided it was time to create my own firm; one that respects each individual client relationship, puts the client's interests ahead of our own, emphasizes education, and above all else performs.

Douglas Capital Advisors is a firm built on service, attention to detail, and transparency. Building a service model that is affordable enough for a young family or professional that is serious about their finances, but also can be scaled up to serve an executive or professional athlete with more sophistication. All are welcome and all deserve to be treated with respect.

I am a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER ™ as of December 2022 and have been a registered investment adviser as of 2016. I am married with two young kids.
